Childrens Ministry

 

Our Children’s ministry involves children from infant through 2nd grade.
The classes are grouped by age and grade:

NURSERY- Infants 0-12 months
TODDLERS- 12 months to 2 years old

EARLY CHILDHOOD- 2 – 5 years old

CHILDREN’S CHURCH- Kindergarten – 2nd grade

JUNIOR’S- 3rd to 6th Grade

Children’s Ministry starts at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM every Sunday morning.
Calvary Ramona Kid’s Club Starts at 6:45 PM on Thursday nights.

We have coordinators that oversee each group, as well as recruit, trains and encourage their volunteers.

The NURSERY and TODDLER ministry involves the help of the parents on a rotating basis, in teams of two.

The EARLY CHILDHOOD ministry places emphasis on learning who Jesus is by sharing the simple truth of His word and His wonderful love for them, in the hopes they will fall in love with Him at this early age. The term for teachers in this group is a 3 month commitment.

CHILDREN’S CHURCH, engages children from kindergarten through 2nd grade in a lively and dynamic ministry designed to teach them the Bible, worship, prayer, and servant-hood.

JUNIOR’S is divided into 2 classes: 3rd and 4th Grade; 5th and 6th Grade. We will continue to ground the children in the Word of God on a more intermediate level while providing fellowship and training (Proverbs 22:6) in a Christ-centered atmosphere.

We encourage all to participate in the children’s ministry, single or married, including those who do not have children of their own.

Parents are encouraged to attend and Children’s ministry to see what is being taught and how the children respond.

There will be times during the year when the entire family will be present in the sanctuary, however, we strongly encourage parents to place their children in the children’s ministry rather than bringing them to the adult service. It is important for them to receive ministry at their age level and enjoy church and not be required to keep silent for 90 minutes. The blessing extends to the rest of the congregation when the service is not disrupted by noisy or fussing children.
